Graham Residence
Tasked with creating a home for tiny living but also five bedrooms, this home design pushed the limits on the use of space. The functional spaces of the plan were divided into three volumes set slightly skewed from each other. Shifting the volumes and roof independently allowed the design to create exterior patios redefining the volumes of space. Four children’s bedrooms, testing the minimum limitations of space, contain a play loft above. The open living space uses vertical space to increase the perception space. A wood rainscreen defines the exterior occupiable spaces in contracts to the cold metal siding. This resulting design created a tiny modern home packed with function.
